What I Will Be Running In 2023
I have finally gotten through setting up and configuring the systems I will be running and testing throughout this coming year and updated my networking Web site. It has been great fun for the last month and kept me indoors out of direct exposure to the Southeastern Wisconsin and Chicago cold. As always my focus will remain on cross platform and local Linux networking as the year moves on, and I will be posting new tutorials on recent improvements in many Linux networking applications. As always my main OS remains Debian Gnome, (Bullseye 11 now), and I will continue to discuss Linux Lite, but this year I will also be adding some discussions about Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 (Elsie) with the Cinnamon desktop, Devuan Chimaera with the Trinity desktop, and Bunsen Labs Beryllium. My focus will remain on SSH, SFTP, SCP, Samba, RDP and VNC, but also distinct variations and improvements in file manager networking and distribution specific networking applications. Below are images of the systems I will be using, testing and configuring as I go through the coming months.
Debian 11 Gnome Desktop
Windows 11
Linux Lite 6 On Hardware
Linux Lite 6 On Hyper-V
Linux Lite 6 On Qemu
Devuan Chimaera Trinity Desktop
Linux Mint Debian Edition Cinnamon Desktop
Bunsen Labs Beryllium
Here’s hoping for a good year for all Linux users!
