Section 3: Using Your File Managers To Copy & Paste Or Move Files

Now your remote user can open up thunar in the Linux Lite gnome-boxes guest running on his/her desktop and either copy and paste or move files between the two systems just by clicking on the bookmark in thunar. See images below:

Once the remote user has the file he/she can copy and paste or move the file to the original gnome boxes host just by clicking the bookmark in his/her respective file manager. See images below:

And there it is in my Debian 9 host’s file manager. See image below:

When you (remote user) are finished simply log out:

And shut down like you normally would:

And then quit gnome-boxes:

And your terminal prompt will return:
